1. Is JVT-NVC Wireless using its own cell phone towers or other providers' towers?

 

Because of the poor coverage in its service area, JVT-NVC Wireless has constructed its own towers and cell phone sites to provide a superior network. Once outside JVT-NVC WirelesS's coverage area, members who have JVT-NVC Wireless cell phone service are able to use the towers of other providers.

 

 

 

2. What is JVT-NVC Wireless's local cell phone coverage area?

 

Over twenty cell phone sites are available throughout JVT-NVC WirelesS'S service area. Click here for local coverage area.

 

 

 

3. Can I use JVT-NVC Wireless's cell phone service outside the area?

 

Yes, you will be able to use the service outside the JVT-NVC Wireless coverage area. There will be travel time included in most of the cell plans which is time used when you are traveling outside the coverage area.

 

 

 

4. Are there roaming charges?

 

As mentioned above, a certain amount of travel time will be included in several of JVT-NVC WirelesS'S plans. There will only be roaming charges if you go over your plan's travel time.

6. Is the cell phone service bundled with other services?

 

Yes, there are bundles that include cell phone service and other services, such as landline phone service, high-speed Internet, and cable TV. Click here for package information.

 

 

 

7. Can I use the same phone I have now?

 
Cell phones from other providers are typically locked and cannot be programmed for a new provider. JVT-NVC Wireless offers several popular handset options.  

 

 
8. Canl I use my current cell phone number?  
Yes, you will be able to keep the same cell phone number you have now or choose to take a new number. Customers wishing to keep their current number will need to provide a copy of their statement from their current provider.  
   

9. What kinds of phones/handsets does JVT-NVC have?

 

Many handsets are available including camera phones, music phones, and Smart Phones. Handset protection plans are also available. Visit phones to see a current list of handsets.

 
10. Is text messaging available?
Yes, text messaging and other services available through cell phone providers are also available with JVT-NVC Wireless such as web browsing, Bluetooth compatability, picture messaging, etc. Visit plans for more information regarding text messaging plans and visit phones for more information about the features available on each phone.
